ABC protein A/G magnetic particles are 1 micron, super-paramagnetic particles of uniform size with covalently bonded high purity protein A/G. The beads provide a fast and convenient method for magnetic isolation of affinity bound antibodies or antigens to protein A/G. They take advantage of the affinity provided by both protein A and protein G, and offer a flexible alternative to either protein A or protein G alone. The magnetic beads are ideal for isolating antibodies from serum, cell culture supernatants, or ascites, and for immunoprecipitation and co-immunoprecipitation of antigens from cell or tissue extracts.
